Genea Crystal

GeneaCrystal is a variant of the arcade game Puzzle Bobble playable on large multi-touch tabletops. In the original game, a player tries to destroy rows of colored bubbles at the top of the screen. To do so, they can shoot bubbles with a cannon positioned at the bottom of the screen. Bubbles are only destroyed if more than three of the same color bump together. The adaptation for tabletops enables possibilities like direct communication or interaction with the opponents. It is also possible to introduce new twists: interaction with bubbles that have been shot but are still moving or the introduction of items the players can interact with.
